The Swiss Food Panel: Background, methods, and selected results

ABSTRACT: The Swiss Food Panel was a longitudinal survey of the eating and activity behavior of the Swiss population that started in 2010. Over the course of 5 years, participants completed a mailed paper-and-pencil questionnaire each year. The questionnaire consisted of, among others, a food frequency questionnaire (FFQ), an assessment of eating styles, the global physical activity questionnaire (GPAQ) and questions related to sociodemographic characteristics and self-reported anthropometric measurements. In the talk, I will present selected results from the Swiss Food Panel.
